Village Hearth
Come to a cozy spot, new mama.
Village Hearth is for the woman who is fresh into this motherhood season and looking for a community of sisters to live out the gospel with. No isolation, judgement, or long-term commitments here. Just finding your people who are in the trenches just like you! Whether you have just conceived or have multiples under school-age, this group will connect you to the village you need.
Our heart is to connect you with a community to walk out the gospel with, to encourage you along the way, and to remind you that
you were made for this.
Our Village meets
every Monday from 12-2 at the Upperroom Prayer Room in Dallas for worship together. This is a family-friendly atmosphere for connecting as a body to minister to the Lord. You do not need to attend UR to join us, anyone is welcome!
Every 3rd Monday
We meet on the steps outside the prayer room for a picnic, time of encouragement, and prayer before the set. It’s a special time to intentionally build community that runs deep.
Dive Deep
John 15:13 “This is my commandment: that you love each other as I have loved you. There is no greater love than this—that a man should lay down his life for his friends.”
Community is all about love.
Like a garden, a village is cultivated and tended. It grows with care, intentionality, and sacrifice. Village Hearth creates space for deeper connection over GroupMe, where women can post local park hangs or playdates, prayer requests, or join a Zoom Bible study.
Our Why for Village Hearth, from Sabrina
I walked through my first five years of motherhood lonely. I tried making friends, but I remained isolated, anxious, and living far from family. These early years with my babies were some of the hardest of my life. I poured out my heart before the Lord, growing in rich friendship with Him as I interceded for this kind of community I longed for. Little did I know that a few years later, this painful season would be the catalyst for Village Hearth. The whole heart for this village is about the gospel and connection, because we really never graduate from that.
It’s God’s desire for mothers and believers everywhere.
We need Jesus + we need one another.
